This week, Courtney and Whitney sit down with the birthday girl to talk about childhood birthday parties spent roller skating, going on scavenger hunts, and celebrating with devil’s food cake. Along the way, Courtney shares how she’s doing the lord's work by feeding the cast of thousands of teenagers who keep lurking around dinner time. Whitney revisits her teenage attempt at hosting a ‘fancy’ dinner party, which sparks Courtney’s memory of a similarly ambitious, but much less wholesome, night from high school.
Momma wraps up the episode by reflecting on sharing her birthday with September 11, the year of her life she would happily relive, and the two words she’s carrying into 77: Moving Forward!
