Don't judge a pie by it's cover!
Chocolate Crack Pie
Why it's on our list
We’re not gonna lie, this pie is ugly as sin! But also one of the tastiest pies we’ve ever eaten as well as the easiest we’ve ever made! Don’t be afraid of it’s unattractiveness! It makes up for it in taste. As kids, Momma Ashley always made this for Birthdays. The reason why this pie is so ugly is because the pie makes its own crust and the top cracks a bit during baking. When you cut into the pie, it will be crumbly with chocolate fudge oozing out everywhere. It’s gooey and chocolatey and if you want to hide its offensive appearance, serve it with a scoop of Bluebell vanilla or Peppermint ice cream on top! If you want to make it gluten free, substitute almond flour. You won’t know the difference!
