Holy Guacamole!! 🥑
You know we’ll take any excuse to drink a Marg and eat some chips and dips! And since today is officially National Guacamole Day, we’re celebrating the right way— avocados at the ready, a bowl of queso, Uncle Ronnie's Hot Sauce and of obviously our famous, knock-you-on-your-ass, Ashley Family Margarita!
The best part about our guac? You don’t need to measure a single thing. (Let’s be honest—we rarely do.) If the avocados are ripe and creamy, just grab what you’ve got lying around and you’re halfway there.

Why it's on our list
While some may disagree, Momma Ashley insists, NO tomatoes in guac. As we like to say, “Just like vermouth doesn’t belong in a dirty martini, tomatoes don’t belong in guacamole.”
And of course, the queen herself—Momma Ashley—is the reason we know all the best hacks. Her holy grail trick for keeping guac from turning brown? Save the avocado skins, or as we like to call them, "Avocado Carcasses." and lay them right on top of your dip, wrap with Saran and refrigerate. It looks a little funny, but trust us—it totally works.
So grab your chips, pour a margarita, and join us in celebrating National Guacamole Day. Because life’s too short for brown guac and weak margaritas.
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
A handful of cilantro, roughly chopped
Red or white onion (dealer’s choice)
About ½ a jalapeño, diced (more if you like it spicy, less if you’re not from Texas 🌶️)
Juice of ½ a lime
Salt + pepper to taste
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!
