This was actually Momma Jeannie's, Momma's recipe but is no doubt Elle's favorite cake of all time!
Momma Jeannie's White Cake with Chocolate Sauce
Why it's on our list
One of our favorite guests of all times is Courtney's childhood best friend, Elle Warren. Her dinner table growing up was an extraordinary one that fostered lively debates of all kinds by her attorney parents. While the main course often lacked a lot of salt and spice due to her father's heart healthy diet, Momma Jeannie always rounded out the meal with a tasty dessert. Elle's all time fave is her grandmother's classic white cake recipe with a decadent chocolate sauce. Momma Jeannie still makes this for Elle every birthday. Since Elle's episode airs during her birthday week, we thought there was no better recipe to share in honor of the incredible Warren women!
